When it comes to dating, some truths are just the law. For instance, when a man likes you, he lets you know – immediately. It is best when he calls you. But an email is okay. The same is true if he does not like you – he won’t immediately call or email you. And if you have to seek him out – well you should probably get ready to be blown off.
So I apply the same logic to my situation with Flyboy the Grocery Store Stalker. I wait two days, when I know for sure, 100% positive know, that Flyboy is flying and call him back. I ring his number wait for the voicemail to come and speak. “Hello Flyboy, it’s Desi Girl. I got your voicemail. And while it was nice to meet you, I must respectfully decline your offer for another meeting. I want to be honest and let you know that I just didn’t feel that za-za-zoom. Wishing you all the best. Bye.”
I hang up and sigh deeply. There. Now I can go back to living my life. Right? Right!

Well physically I was safe - I make it a practice not to tell these dudes where I live or give out too many details.
His trick involves something I think that is worse than physical abuse. At least if someone hits you, you know where it hurts. He I think is much more calculated - I think he knew the best way to wound me was to use words. And he did - for a while.
But I bounce back :)
